Anxious Monkey is a personal project that I'm working on for years now. It's just me dealing with my life by turning some events/ feelings/ ideas into soundtracks. It all started back in 2009 with the name of Monokuff, and after some time, I found it therapeutic enough to devote substantial time to it. I ended up having my bachelor thesis on how music can induce agitation and what are the core components. After a few years and exploring different genres I think I'm now pretty much settled on a more electronic, neo-classic style under the influence of great composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Steve Jablonsky, Gustavo Santaolalla, and Joseph Bishara (when it comes to horror soundtracks).
In 2019 I revisited some of my works from 2012-2018 and released them as a collection called Recall. In 2020 I released my second collection called Reform, which is more politically loaded instead of emotionally. In 2022 I decided to release smaller collections, EPs, and single tracks instead of full-fledged albums.
You can find my works in SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and many more stores/services. Just contact me in case you're interested in working on stuff together or want to listen to them but you don't have access to streaming services. I'll send them to you for free.
